WebThis article examines state-mandated financial education and whether it improves debt-related and college-going behaviors (payday borrowing and sub-optimally financing post-secondary education) among economically vulnerable young adults. Findings suggest that exposure to personal finance course requirements reduces engaging in adverse behaviors.
