I bought the tractor this way and the previous owner said that it had a valve sticking and he had gotten it free (without taking the head off?) Specs for valves on a K241 motor: Clearance on intake valve is .008 to .010. Clearance on exhaust valve is .017 to .019. To adust valves: Rotate crank to top dead center of compression stroke. Loosen jam nut. Place one wrench in slot that's part of the tappet. Place other wrench on adjusting bolt.
